2008 course cost: NZ$12,500
All courses are quoted in NZ$ and are inclusive of GST. Course costs exclude airfares to and from New Zealand, and your food.
Course prerequisite
No formal snowboard training is necessary, all we ask is that you be an intermediate or above level rider at the minimum. We define this as riding with balance and control on all groomed terrain, utilising some early edge changes (before the fall-line) and a variation of turn size and shape. This extends to performing some basic freestyle (i.e. switch riding and ollies/airs) and showing confidence on advanced terrain, including black runs and some off piste areas. You must own appropriate equipment but, most importantly, have the willingness to learn and the ambition to achieve your goals.
The Rome full-time course includes:
Season pass to Mt Ruapehu, including both Whakapapa and Turoa ski areas
Transport to and from Whakapapa ski area on scheduled training days
